Rick Santorum or Mitt Romney--Can Either Win?

If you haven't followed the news let me clue you in the folks in Maine were snorting Maple syrup and ignored the true vote count for Rep. Ron Paul.  Governor Mitt Romney was called as the winner with 84% of the votes cast counted.  The powers at be hate Rep. Ron Paul.  It was stupid, it's now a scandal and even Rachel Maddow is talking about it at MSNBC.  It's not going away.

Can Rep. Ron Paul win the nomination? No but he can have a lot to say about the Republican platform and I'm doubtful he will run as an Independent (but he hasn't ruled it out).  The Republican establishment wants Governor Mitt Romney and that's why the Maine debacle happened.  It will be easier to declare Rep. Ron Paul the winner expos facto.

The reality is Governor Mitt Romney has the excitement factor of Vice President Al Gore.  If either candidate, Governor Mitt Romney or Vice President Al Gore were themselves their political careers would have been different.

Despite Rick Santorum's surge he or Governor Mitt Romney have only one hope, $5 a gallon gasoline it burnt Jimmy Carter and I doubt President Obama can squeak by.  If Gas stays steady, President Obama wins.  If it goes to $7 a gallon game over.

Get The Dough Out With Ben and Jerry by Brad Richdale

Yesterday I was taking a break after a hard workout and was channel surfing and caught Ben and Jerry on MSNBC with Dylan Ratigan.  Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield have probably caused more pounds to be gained than any duo in history.  The good news about gaining weight with Ben and Jerry is you are usually happy during the process of getting your sugar high.

Ben and Jerry have a new cause and a worthy one at that.  They are leading a movement to get rid of money flowing to candidates in exchange for influence--this involves overturning a Supreme Court decision.

I believe nothing will change in Washington unless PAC money is eliminated.  If you are fed up with PAC money controlling the country I urge you to go to www.getthedoughout.org.

Idle Time Is The Devils Playground---Oakland Occupy Movement by Brad Richdale

We are now seeing the beginning of extreme violence in the United States.  This is an example of how idle time is the devil's playground.

Oakland, as I predicted almost four years ago with my book Financial Recourse is ground zero for very pissed off people with nothing to do other than be pissed off.  This is just the start, violence spreads, as does anger especially when people have nothing to lose and idle time on their hands.  The blow back for the city of Oakland is the Occupy Wall Street invasion has now cost $10 million, money that was not budgeted.  The city of Oakland is now bankrupt.  If they raise property taxes, tax revolts will begin and people will leave.

I believe that we will see a melt down in major cities as the economic recovery in my opinion is balderdash.

Right now the middle of nowhere (another prediction I made in 2008) is about to become somewhere.

What About The Debt? by Brad Richdale

I have a feeling that very soon we are going to find out about the sin of spending more than you take in as a country. I don't think it will be pretty and no one is talking about it.  Is it me or do the Republican or Democratic parties think we are imbeciles?

I don't get it at all.  It's now safe to assume Governor Mitt Romney will get the chance to run for President as the Republican nominee but what exactly has he offered like the Herman Cain 9-9-9?  What's his point that specifically differentiates him from President Obama?  Why should we vote for him?

The only person who says anything that makes sense is Rep. Ron Paul.  Here's his promise..."I will cut one trillion dollars in spending!"  I like that promise it's concrete, specific and easy to understand.  Will I vote for Rep. Ron Paul when it's my chance, most likely yes.  Will it matter? Maybe.  Rep. Ron Paul has zeroed in on the real issue, namely that you can't print money out of thin air without severe consequences--the Republican nominee will want his support and it won't come without a major concession. I could see Rep. Ron Paul as the Secretary of the Treasury if the Republicans win. The IRS would love that wouldn't they?

So again, what about the debt and defecit?  Can it be paid back?  I strongly doubt it and then we will all see what it's like to see a currency collapse due to our penchant to spend what we don't have.   Believe me the time for us to pay the piper is coming and it's coming soon.  We'll wake up one day and the you know what will hit the fan.  As a former Boy Scout here's my advice be prepared.

Brad Richdale for Creating Wealth Step by Step...The Consistency of Inconsistency

There is one thing you can bank on aside from death and taxes, namely change or what I like to call the consistency of inconsistency.  It is part of the direct marketing environment that I contend with on a daily basis.  In the last fifteen years I've witnessed a complete transition in direct response, direct marketing, direct sales and DRTV (direct response television).  When the Internet came into existence it shocked the entire system.  Newspaper revenues plummeted and the electronic world is slowly but surely killing off the weak.  But isn't that how life is?  You can predict that change is a constant and you must have the ability to adapt in order to survive and prosper.

In the direct response, direct marketing, direct sales and DRTV marketplace you must be aware that some new software program, or app for your IPHONE or totally brand new technology could stun and shock your life with mayhem and confusion. You can lose your income, your business, your family and your future if you are unwilling to adapt.

So again aside from death and taxes we have to be willing to accept that as much as we don't want to see it something is going to be thrown at us and shock us into a change that we didn't expect.

That's what is happening right now, right before our eyes--there is so much media fragmentation and a huge shift in habits that I suspect TV will come under more pressure as production costs rise while viewership and revenues have been declining due to social media addiction.  I know a lot of folks that are addicted to their hand held devices, the Internet, instant messaging, Twitter, Facebook, Manta, Quora, Linked In, etcetera that I get dizzy watching it.  Despite my dizziness with the frantic pace that keeps getting more intense and insane I have to be cognizant of the change in order to adjust how I communicate my business message. I am now aware that certain TV channels are still going to work for direct response sales, direct sales, direct marketing and DRTV but the fact is many TV stations are going to die due to the eyeball shift and reliance on social Media like Facebook, Twitter, Quora, Manta, Linked In, on demand media and other competitive elements that come at us beckoning our time and attention.

This means very simply many companies will die due to change of technologies and habits.

Remember there is a consistency to inconsistency be mindful that you must roll with the changes, adapt or die.

Two For Two In My Picks For The Super Bowl by Brad Richdale Scam

I'd like to say I'm smart and definitively thought the New York Giants and New England Patriots were a lock to go to the Super Bowl but I'd be telling you a big fat lie.  I hoped we'd see a rematch and we will.  If you recall the last time Eli Manning and the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots in 2008 and despite the fact I bleed Red, White and Blue I have the same concern with the New York Giants.

As for Dennis Miller on Bill O'Reilly's the O'Reilly factor betting Billy boy dinner, Dennis, Bill is inviting the New England Patriots so it's going to get pricey. I also discussed this in Brad Richdale scam.

Back to the rematch I have that same feeling, Eli Manning and the Giants can explode at any time but then again so did the Baltimore Ravens. Tom Brady rarely has two bad games in a row, he will be ready.

As an SMU Mustang I just want to remind you that Sterling Moore was the player of the game with an incredible stripping in the end zone, the Boston Herald, ESPN, NBC, and Bob Costas all said it.  Heck the Baltimore Ravens didn't get beat, they lost the game twice in a minutes time. So it goes.

If you are a New England Patriots fan start Tebowing.  The New York Giants will be physical, active and prolific force in Indianopolis while Eli Manning will have big brother Peyton at his side to have a steak at St. Elmos one of the best steak restaurants in the World and a favorite for the Indianapolis Colts.

How To Really Write A Winning Headline In Direct Response or Direct Marketing by Brad Richdale

One of the things I see with a lot of the so-called internet marketers is an impatience in the testing of headlines.  Often they are so concerned with too many things that they miss the most important thing...the headline or opening statement.

If I were President Clinton's political consultant and friend James Carville I'd say, "it's the headline stupid!"  James Carville coined the phrase in the 1992 race for the Presidency with the slogan, "it's the economy stupid!"  That one liner could play out well in this Republican primary but the Republican's would hate to credit James Carville and God forbid President Clinton.  I'll use the same approach especially in speaking to the noveau direct marketing crowd that has emerged with little patience in testing headlines, guarantees, bonuses, etcetera when it comes to internet marketing.  Just get a subscription to Keyword Spy or Sy Fu and use what someone else did.  Who said that person who wrote the right headline in the first place had the best headline. So it worked, so what!  Can you write one that triples the response? I regularly get a lift of 500% from my first test in a DRTV campaign. I obsess for days on headlines and opening statements and it pays off in spades!

Here's a simple tip to writing headlines...get the phone number of the person who bought from you and ask them why they bought?  I know in the tech laden age we ask "why should we call a person on the phone?"  Because people tell you the emotions they have and often speaking to one hundred people gives you a clear direction you didn't previously had.  If you think about what the people you spoke to said you will see entirely new ways to speak more directly and with more priority to your true target audience and get more results from some simple efforts.  The result is a better headline or opening statement with a lot more net and gross profit in direct response, DRTV and in direct sales or direct marketing.

Today we depend too much on computers and too little on the people that own the computers.  That's for all the young kids under 30 who think the Internet trumps everything.  People have emotions and serving those emotions creates more efficiency for your effort.

Speak to customers and get more insight to your headline writing. Often the best headline for your offer is buried in your copy or your video presentation (if you are selling on DRTV or Direct Response via Direct Sales on the Internet).

Slow down and think and stop trying to rush through everything with analytics and other people's keywords, you will be surprised what you discover.  God gave you two ears and one mouth. Think about that. Call your customers, ask them questions and then listen you will discover some amazing things.
